Drew University, Madison, NJ Assistant Director, Internships & Professional Development Job Description: The Assistant Director serves students in both the College and Caspersen School of Graduate Studies, as well as alumni, on issues related to career planning strategies in the areas of business, finance, and entrepreneurship. This includes individual professional development, internship support, and job-search advising to students and alumni; advising on post-baccalaureate education opportunities, including application support; and the development and presentation of workshops and events. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and employers who are studying and/or working in business, finance, and entrepreneurship. The position reports to the Director of the Center for Career Development. This is a 12-month position. The Career and Internship Advisor administers all aspects of the undergraduate and graduate academic internship programs and interacts at a high level with department chairs, students, staff and external constituents. The Career and Internship Advisor advises undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Education & Human Services (CEHS) on a wide range of career development proficiencies including career exploration, self-assessment, decision-making, and job search strategies.
